Lovesick is a band that plays country, western swing, and rock'n'roll. They have released six studio albums, the latest – "Remember My Name" – came out in June 2024. In 2024 and 2025, they undertook two tours in the USA and were nominated for the Ameripolitan Music Awards in Austin, Texas, in the category "Western Swing Band." This nomination recognized them as one of the most interesting bands in the genre worldwide. The band is led by Paolo Roberto Pianezza (guitar, vocals) and Francesca Alinovi (double bass, vocals) and has been active since 2015 with their own releases and international tours. With over 400 concerts in Europe and the USA, they perform exclusively their own songs, blending American roots with a personal and distinctive songwriting style. They have shared the stage with artists like Ben Harper, Tommy Emmanuel, Toquinho, JD McPherson, Zucchero, and have played at major festivals alongside The Offspring, Social Distortion, Walter Trout, Ten Years After, and other well-known names in the scene. They also performed as the opening act for Zucchero Fornaciari at the RCF Arena Campovolo before 35,000 spectators, as well as at historic sites like the Valle dei Templi in Agrigento and the Greek Theater in Syracuse. "Remember My Name," released on June 28, 2024, was recorded in Los Angeles and is the band's sixth studio album. It is distributed worldwide by DixieFrog Records (Europe), MGM Distribution (Australia and New Zealand), and Edgewater Music Group (USA, Canada, and the rest of the world), emphasizing the band's artistic and international identity. To date, Lovesick has sold over 19,000 records completely independently. Paolo and Francesca have also worked in film and television: they appeared in the film "Lamborghini – The Man Behind the Legend," in the TV series "Speravo de morì prima" (based on the career of footballer Francesco Totti), and in the international series about Oriana Fallaci, which was released in 2025.
