L’ours Kintsugi

Description

High up on a mountain lives the Kintsugi bear. Proud and solitary, he loves feeling the wind between his claws, until one day a storm throws him into the valley. Injured, the animal hides, ashamed of his scars. It is then that Kaori, a brave child, decides to join him. Armed with a needle and some golden hair, she sews the bear's skin with brilliant golden stitches, revealing that what is repaired becomes even more precious than new. Inspired by the Japanese art of kintsugi, this puppet show unfolds a magical landscape made of fabrics and recycled clothes, in perpetual transformation. There, we meet talking red snakes, lake ducks, and insects from the paths in a setting that changes before our eyes. Bathed in the play of light and sounds of nature, L’ours Kintsugi weaves a delicate story about friendship and the right to imperfection.
