Description

Gabriel Alvarez revives two key plays from his company's repertoire. For the 40th anniversary of his Studio d’Action Théâtrale, he also pays tribute to a fellow traveler who has just left the world of the living, Valère Novarina.
It’s an archipelago of acts, a bundle of unresolved actions, cascades of duets, circus liturgies, laments, spoken landscapes, songs, double pronominal drama chronomachy… As many figures of attraction, as many movements of a ballet, a brief comic drama of breathing.

L’Origine rouge is a creation by Gabriel Alvarez that revisits two emblematic plays of his company. Presented at the Maison des arts du Grütli in Geneva, this work explores various themes through a blend of theatrical actions and artistic performances.
