A woman, a man. Are they lovers, friends, siblings, or ghosts stranded in a no-man’s land? Here, the material world seems to have vanished. Only their enigmatic bond matters; their way of being lost together, of being in the world in the relative isolation of a "only two". What binds their need for intimacy is the desire to share the same silence, symptomatic of human inequalities. Silence becomes so rare that it has become a luxury only a few are entitled to. The majority, overwhelmed by the noise of the world, continues to suffer its deafening din. So, as a form of gentle resistance, the man and woman imagine creating a place where silence would be accessible, free, collective, and shared.
