Description
As part of the bicentennial commemoration of Beethoven's death in 2027, the Lausanne Chamber Orchestra presents a unique project featuring the full cycle of Beethoven's symphonies and concertos. Each day, a different concert is held at Théâtre de Beaulieu, conducted by Renaud Capuçon and featuring soloist Clara-Jumi Kang. Highlights include performances of Beethoven's Violin Concerto in D major, Op. 61, and Symphony No. 6 in F major, Op. 68, 'Pastoral'. Additionally, there are special activities for children, including guided tours, interviews, and orchestra workshops, designed to introduce young audiences to classical music.
