With rubber boat and hiking boots, two people through the wilderness of Greenland? – What a crazy idea! It was conceived in summer 2023 on Lake Lucerne. A year later, Josch and Martin actually set out. The journey lasted three months, taking them across the islands of Greenland, Iceland, and the Faroe Islands. The highlight of the live report are the four weeks in East Greenland, which they explored on their own – silently gliding in the packraft between huge icebergs and step by step on foot over scree slopes, glaciers, and through marshy valleys. Far from paths, civilization, and safety. With the feeling of boundless freedom. With impressive images, photographer and geographer Martin Ramsauer tells of this extraordinary journey and combines exciting insights into land and people with the personal experiences of the two adventurers in an entertaining, humorous way.
