Description

Singer Vera Baumann and double bassist Johanna Pärli wander through light forests and thick volumes of poetry. They weave lines of contemporary poetry with poetic melodies into archaic songs. roh* capture the sounds of pine cones, stones, and shards of clay, which they weave into their earthy improvisations. In doing so, they open up new, expansive soundscapes for their listeners while celebrating the incredible intimacy of strings, voice, and words.
