Exhibition "Little Nature ?" 36 questions to decode the lake. Can the lake flood? Is the water too clean? Can you find jellyfish, algae, oil, or pearls in it? Lake Geneva, the largest lake in Western Europe, is omnipresent in the daily lives of its inhabitants. People swim in it, fish in it, walk along it, or cross over it, admire it, and draw 80 billion liters of water from it each year. This exhibition reveals some of the secrets of Lake Geneva: its origin, its functioning, the life of its feathered, scaled, and leafy inhabitants. It crosses time to better project ourselves into the future of this lake that, despite its strength, remains vulnerable to climate change and human behavior. Stained glass window overlooking the lake. After lighting a street in Morges for more than a century, an exceptional stained glass window begins a new life in Nyon. The house in which it was located had to be demolished, and the Richard family donated it to the Musée du Léman. This stained glass window, installed on the second floor of the museum, perfectly complements the exhibition Little Nature. It shows a view of the lake with plants and water birds. Thanks to an interpretation table, young and old can discover the richness of the exhibition.
