About Hannah Mann
Hannah Mann lives in Berlin, influenced by Eastern European fairy-tale-like qualities and Jewish history, and as a great-granddaughter of Heinrich Mann, she long struggled with the fame of her family name. After studying politics, working in startups, and writing short texts, she found the courage to develop her own literary voice. She describes how in her essay "Oh, Mann!" (ZEIT magazine). "Zeppelin und Karpfen" is her debut novel.
