Letters to the Cat

Description

The cat has disappeared! Hoping to bring the feline back home, a child starts leaving letters in its cat flap, involving her mother, a neighbor, and even the missing cat's bowl in her game. Each one, in their own way and seemingly casually, shares hidden parts of their intimacy or relationships with others through touching and mischievous correspondence. Alone at their table, Clémence Mermet and Timothée Giddey transform into musicians, sound effects artists, and technicians, developing the original soundtrack of these eclectic messages live. A performance full of humor and humanity, based on the text by Antoinette Rychner. HARP / Wednesday, March 10 at 8:30 PM Intimate folk from Froide, with sublime accents, Harpe's Nordic echoes will resonate against the walls of the Pommier like in a cocoon. This acoustic project by Bertrand Vorpe, accompanied by Pauline Sangsue on drums, seeks to reconcile nature and humanity, hope and melancholy in a work with interseasonal sounds.
