Take part in the world's largest human rights campaign! As a House of Human Rights, the Anna Göldi Museum is taking part in Amnesty International's Letter Marathon.
Millions of people write letters and cards every year to free innocent people from prison and give them courage. We get to know the names and fates of
people who have worked peacefully to guarantee human rights in their country. For this they were imprisoned, tortured or sentenced to death. As a sign of solidarity and a symbol of hope, you can light a beeswax candle. Every time it burns, it should remind us of all the people whose rights are being violated and who therefore need our solidarity and support.
