The young scientist Alesch returns to his remote hometown Pradetta, located at the edge of a melting glacier. There, mysterious natural phenomena accumulate, pulling him between his connection to the mountain world and his belief in technological progress. At the same time, he is working on a risky research that promises a way out of the energy crisis. His paths also cross with his childhood love Annetta. About the author
Seraina Kobler was born in Ticino and now lives in Zurich. After studying linguistics and cultural studies, she initially worked as a journalist before turning to literature. She became widely known with the Zurich crime novels about the sea police officer Rosa Zambrano.
