Lesní Zvěř Lesní zvěř is a distinctive musical group whose roots date back to the turn of the millennium. In a broader context, it aligns itself with the nu-jazz genre, which it enriches with its own, unmistakable expression. It can be explosively energetic and captivating in its liveliness, as well as intimate and atmospheric, evoking contemplative moods and strong musical images. Over its existence, Lesní zvěř has built a reputation as an original and respected group through performances at both domestic and international festivals, appealing to a wide spectrum of listeners across genres. One of its main distinguishing features is the extraordinary interplay and mutual symbiosis of its members: Jiří Hradil (keyboards, synthesizers), Martin Čech (drums), and Marek Steyer (trumpet). After the release of their second album and a period of partial silence, Lesní zvěř returns to its instrumental roots in a chamber trio format – keyboards, drums, and trumpet. Throughout its journey, the band has undergone significant development: from experimental instrumentalism, where improvisation played a crucial role during live performances, through more song-oriented forms, to the current return to purely instrumental expression. A significant chapter was the collaboration with Horňácká muzika of Petr Mička, which enriched the songs on the debut album and subsequently led to the creation of the unique project Hrubá Hudba. Rabbit Slow Singer-songwriter Rabbit Slow hails from the Slovácko region of Milotice. In his songs, he tells stories about searching for identity, home, and place in the contemporary world. His work is imbued with intimate melancholy and nostalgia, evoking the atmosphere of a photo album from a successful trip or a gathering of friends. This is no coincidence – Petr Foltýn, hidden under the pseudonym Rabbit Slow, also engages in photography alongside music. Just as in his photographs, he captures fragile moments, memories, and emotions in his songs. However, his soothing voice does not hide the fact that not everything is right in today's world. "Rabbit Slow creates music that is both comforting and unsettling – like a good friend who listens to you but does not forget to remind you of important questions," wrote the music magazine AlterEcho about his work.
