Born from the imagination of two Ticino authors, the series The Most Beautiful Fables in the World was translated and broadcast on Swiss television channels during the 1980s. With a graphic style reminiscent of watercolor and a sound atmosphere where music gives way to the sounds of nature and its silences, the directors reinvented traditional fables where animals, big and small, become the heroes. In a language unique to them – not unlike that of Pingu – they come to life and go through comic situations. Resulting from a collaboration with Radiotelevisione svizzera italiana (RSI), this lively selection is to be (re)enjoyed but this time... on the big screen!
