Les Papillons - PRISMA

Description

In PRISMA, seemingly incompatible worlds collide. Musical fragments create universes where styles, eras, and melodies fly happily around and make the impossible possible. Sometimes a nocturnal mosaic of lullabies and "Clair de Lune" glows, where dream and reality seem to merge. Other times, Bach's organ storm, Handel's jubilation, and a "Take Me to Church" swirl through a colorful LSD shimmer – a vibrating play between faith, ecstasy, and doubt. And when Celine Dion sings of loneliness, Sergei Rachmaninoff sits at the piano, and Leonard Cohen, Amy Winehouse, and Frédéric Chopin look in curiously, something magical happens. Les Papillons, long known for their incomparable mix of virtuosity, charm, and tongue-in-cheek anarchy, transform the stage into a prism that breaks music into countless colors and recombines it – surprisingly, deeply moving, and incredibly entertaining.
