Description

No other music group has marked its era as much on all levels. From "Love me do" in 1962 to "Come Together" in 1969, what a journey and what a musical revolution! The conference will discuss this roughly ten-year journey: history, albums, songs, and "Beatlesmania." To illustrate, there will be many period excerpts as well as musical performances on the piano by the speaker. The audience will not be passive, as they will be invited to sing along to one song or another, accompanied and "conducted" by the speaker. Ultimately, the provocative question – Rolling Stones or Beatles? – will find its answer.
