Description

A true modern nomad, lover of places and people, Nicolas Pernot lived for three years on an island in the middle of Lake Baikal. Through photographs, stories, and videos, his documentary presentation, lively and surprising, will take you to the shores of the oldest and deepest lake in the world, covered in winter by a thick layer of ice. In this wild nature, you will meet Vladimir, alone in the taiga, Sergueï the bell ringer, Nikita the ping-pong champion, and many other inhabitants of Siberia. Besides wild landscapes, astonishing fauna and flora, you will discover some Orthodox and shamanic rites, as well as unsuspected aspects of Russian culture.

General Information
