Leopold Altenburg is the great-great-grandson of Empress Elisabeth Sisi & Emperor Franz Josef I. and thus comes from the House of Habsburg, the then significant noble family, which originated in Aargau. The actor, theater director, hospital clown, and author lives in Berlin, and now the show leads him back to his roots in Switzerland with his book "The Emperor and His Sunshine." With his entertainment program "Prince & Clown," Leopold Altenburg shows us that history does not have to be dusty but can be quite amusing. With comedy acts, songs, a clown number, and stories about the creation of his book, Leopold Altenburg presents a varied stage program about his life between past & present, Vienna & Berlin, blue blood & red noses. He has already celebrated successes with his show in Austria and Germany as well as in Zug. At the end of October 2025, he performed there to a sold-out audience. The audience was thrilled – a treat for royal fans and history enthusiasts!
