Echoes of the Collection

Description

Hidden in the attic of the Singisen wing, the art collection of Murikultur is stored. Five contemporary artists were invited to engage with selected works from the collection and develop new works from them. The exhibition centers on questions about the nature and potential of a collection: How does it come into being? What stories does it preserve? And how can it serve as a starting point for new artistic perspectives? The exhibition makes selected collection works accessible and brings them into dialogue with contemporary positions. As an echo chamber between past and present, new resonances, unusual viewpoints, and unexpected connections arise. An exhibition with works by:

General Information
