LE MARGHERITE

Description

Choreographer Erika Zueneli unites five dancers and a musician in an ode to lightness. A playful and touching dance and speech performance that celebrates the ephemeral and the extravagant. A young man warmly welcomes us and warns us: "Here we do not do everything we say, and we do not say everything we do. Everything is allowed here." The framework is set, and this cheerful introduction opens the door to all fantasies. In an unending interplay of costumes, the performers and the accompanying live musician indulge in an absurd dance, sing a little song in Italian, mix "Niagara" and Stravinsky's "Le Sacre du printemps" and happily comment on their performances. The piece celebrates the joys of ineffectiveness and creates space to talk about our time, longing, and the fear of the end. We laugh, we are also moved, but above all, we leave with the strange impression that, for the duration of a performance, we held the unfathomable in our hands.

LE MARGHERITE is a creative performance that celebrates lightness and transience. Five dancers and a musician invite the audience to immerse themselves in a world full of imagination and humor. The event takes place at the Usine à Gaz in Nyon and is suitable for audiences aged 11 and above.
