Description

The rocks of this vast island (52 times the size of Switzerland) describe Earth's history over 4 billion years, while its ice layers trace the evolution of ancient climates. Amidst rivalries between the USA, China, and Russia, Greenland, with its mineral resources (oil, metals, and rare earths) and its strategic position opening new navigation passages, is a major geopolitical issue in the Arctic. As for the 50,000 Inuit on the island, they are torn between their traditional cultural heritage and the accelerations of modernity. Tireless traveler Jean-Marc Walther will return to Greenland in summer 2027: with you?
