Description

There is a remedy for the aridity and inertia of our world: coriander! Or "Kesbara" in Arabic. Dida and Romain are crazy about it and are searching together for the right dosage to pay tribute to it. An intimate encounter between guitar and voice, between sadness and joy. A gentle revolution that carries away those who have already sown their seed. Kesbara was born in autumn 2023 as Dida and Romain became aware of the extent of the disaster started in Gaza and the Middle East. The creative urgency then calls for a reminder of the living, against all odds, and a need to honor every person who left too soon. Kesbara's music is intimate, soul-stirring, always with a drive towards beauty. Some songs borrow from the classical and popular repertoire of the Cham region, while others are composed in the wake of life events.
