Description
In the shady passage behind the Kunsthaus Biel, moss covers the damp stones. The sun manages to reach a patch on the facade of the Espace Libre. A small green dot moves across this warm spot. An ant carries a piece of a leaf. Slightly above, another one — no, two or three, a whole ant trail can be seen. And a little below, again a dot, somewhat larger and yellow-black striped. A snail carries its house in the same direction, up the facade towards the passerelle that connects the two buildings. And there, a lizard, a grasshopper, and a spider. They are also on their way up to the open window, where a blackbird is already sitting and the ant trail disappears into the twilight of the interior. Strange sounds emanate from there, a murmur, stridulating, and chattering.
