Flower: Noun, feminine (Latin flos, floris) – enchanting, attractive, complex, ephemeral, mysterious… The flower is as healing as it is dangerous and appeals to our senses as well as our relationship with the living world. As an undeniable visual poet, it is also capable of communicating through electrical signals and emitting sound frequencies that are unfortunately not perceivable by the human ear. Over the past two years, Anaïs Vouillamoz traveled through Valais and conducted artistic research related to the diverse wealth of flora. She photographed, collected information and sounds, listened to the knowledge of her relatives and professionals, and thus created a kind of report from which she ultimately developed the idea for an exhibition – a tribute to the love of flowers. "Le Champ des Sirènes" offers the audience an overview of a journey that, in her eyes, is just beginning and proves that together we form the cultural heritage of tomorrow. Important dates: Opening: Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 6 PM; Closing: Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 10 PM to 11 PM – guided tour and sound performance in the presence of the artist as part of the "Night of Museums."
