Larry is accompanied by Bernd Haseneder from Harburg and Hamburg's Henning Wulf. Bernd is responsible for the Bodhrán, Cajón, and percussion, providing a rhythm that is sometimes gentle, sometimes driving. Bernd is a long-standing, experienced, and well-known Bodhrán and percussion player in the folk scene. Henning completes the band's sound with his gentle whistles, atmospheric harmonicas, banjo, and mandolin. Larry Mathews hails from the southwest coast of Ireland. He is a musician, singer, and songwriter all in one. He plays the fiddle "like the speed of the wind." His incredible voice gives the songs a "raw and rustic feeling" that is unmatched. He has previously worked on stage with musicians such as Christy Moore, the Fury Brothers, Long John Baldry, Davy Johnston of the Elton John Band, The Dubliners, and Achim Reichel. The band's self-compositions, which are sometimes rockily phrased, along with Irish jigs and reels, as well as melancholic ballads, promise to create an atmosphere that lets you feel the raging storm at sea, the approaching fog in the mountains, the silence, the pain of love, but also the proverbial Irish cheerfulness.
