The spoken word virtuoso and Salzburger Stiers award winner combines comedy and poetry in her fifth solo program like no other. Deep, absurd, and wild, she works her way through Switzerland – and how to move in it. How do we get older? How does Lara Stoll fare in traffic? And what do salad buffets have to do with all this? The show is also jazzed up with honking, trombone, and saxophone. The audience can expect a colorful evening. Born in 1987, born in Schaffhausen and raised in Thurgau. Now living in Zurich. Hobbies: red wine and knitting every other December. For over 13 years, Lara Stoll has been seen as a slam poet on various stages, including appearances at ‘Äschbacher’ and ‘Giacobbo/Müller’ as well as on WDR. From 2011 to 2015, she completed film studies at Zurich University of the Arts. Since 2013, she has been producing crazy shows and films with the collective ‘Bild mit Ton’. After her first feature film, ‘Das Höllentor von Zürich’, ran in several cinemas, it can now be watched for free here. The latest film project, ‘Wer hat die Konfitüre geklaut’, starring cabaret artist Patrick Frey, premiered in January 2022. The popular Swiss meme format ‘s’Internet us de Dose’ is also released weekly. Additionally, Lara Stoll is involved in various music projects. From the punk band ‘Pfffff’, she developed the synth-pop techno project ‘Stefanie Stauffacher’ together with Constant Hiatus, for which she is responsible for lyrics and vocals. Her first album is expected to be released digitally and on vinyl in the fall. Lara Stoll can be booked as a slam poet; she is quite punctual, and most people have been satisfied so far. But no weddings. Seriously.
