50 years after the 'German Autumn', the Federal Agency for Civic Education is opening an educational venue around the former Lufthansa aircraft 'Landshut' at Friedrichshafen Airport in October 2027. The collection 'Landshut 1977. Left-wing terrorism in the Federal Republic' has already been published, bringing together contributions from various disciplines and eyewitnesses. Moderator Martin Hennings (Mittelbayerische Zeitung) discusses with Prof. Dr. Gisela Diewald-Kerkmann and Dr. Irmgard Zündorf how and from which perspectives the terrorism of the RAF can be remembered and what significance the events of autumn 1977 hold today. The event takes place as part of the 'Friedrichshafen Days of Democracy 2026'.
