Laboratory

Description

From experiment to stage: «Laboratory» continues the long-standing collaboration between Collegium Novum Zürich and ZHdK and represents a joint commitment to the music of our time and its young talents. The concert features four new ensemble works by composition students, developed through a multi-stage process. Fragments, sketches, and experimental sound ideas were tested, discussed, and refined together with the ensemble in workshops. The direct feedback from the musicians influenced the final form of the works. Now, under the direction of Zoi Tsokanou, the pieces are being performed on stage for the first time.
