LA SIRENA – The Sorceress Dreaming. For the release of her new album The Sorceress Dreaming, LA SIRENA comes to SALZHAUS BRUGG. Behind the name is the Chilean singer, pianist, songwriter, and producer Carolina Stiles, known in Switzerland for many years as Linah Rocio. LA SIRENA’s music is warm and atmospheric, emotional and at the same time idiosyncratic. Voice and piano are at the center, supported by arrangements that alternate between delicacy, depth, and a fine rough edge. The songs open a space to dive into – a musical world that moves inward and unfolds its effect primarily live. Close, intense, and touching. After UK concerts, now also the Swiss release show exclusively at SALZHAUS BRUGG. LA SIRENA will be accompanied by bassist Dave Ayre - UK (including Joni Mitchell, Muse, Hans Zimmer, BBC Symphony Orchestra) and drummer Eddie Walker - UK/CH (Martin Schenkel, Gigi Moto, Rotosphere, Back From Mars), complemented by Ambrosius Huber - CH on cello, as well as other guest musicians. The Sorceress Dreaming marks the beginning of a new chapter – and the CH release show at SALZHAUS BRUGG brings this music to the stage for the first time in this lineup.
