The argovia philharmonic is once again on tour in the regions and dedicates itself under the direction of the Italian conductor Ruben Jais to a versatile Baroque program. The opening is Georg Philipp Telemann's "Hamburger Ebb und Fluth" Suite TWV 55:C3, a water music for the 100th anniversary of the Hamburg Admiralty, which vividly tells a story of ebb, flow, and mythological sea creatures. In the Concerto grosso HWV 313 op. 3 No. 2 by Georg Friedrich Händel, a lively work of Baroque splendor unfolds. Following is a work from Vivaldi's famous collection "L’estro armonico," the Concerto for four violins in B minor op. 3 No. 10, which is counted among the most influential works of the 18th century due to its originality and inventiveness. Finally, Georg Friedrich Händel's "Fireworks Music" HWV 351 sounds, originally composed for a royal fireworks display and presenting Baroque art in its most magnificent form. Performers:
