LA FIESTA EN EL JARDÍN INTERIOR DE RUSSELL CROWE

Description

Russell Crowe: «Indoor Garden Party» —for the first time in Zurich The Oscar and Golden Globe-winning, legendary «Gladiator» Russell Crowe is not only one of Hollywood's most famous actors but also a musician with decades of experience. In June 2027, he will perform with his band, The Gentlemen Barbers, at the Teatro 11 in Zurich as part of his European tour with the show «Indoor Garden Party». «You might know that I have been making movies for 30 years. But I have been playing music at night with a band for 40 years,» says Russell Crowe. «Indoor Garden Party» is not just any concert. Crowe blurs the line between stage and audience: between song and song, he tells stories, jokes, and shares anecdotes from everyday life in Hollywood, with that unmistakable baritone voice known to the audience from his films. Musically, the band's repertoire ranges from melancholic Irish folk, gospel, raw country ballads, and deep blues, to stadium rock. Crowe has been working on the project The Gentlemen Barbers for the past four years; he shares decades of collaboration with the band members. The most prominent voice in the band is that of Irish singer Lorraine O’Reilly, with her rough and energetic voice. Crowe's journey into cinema began with music: bands, tours, records, and later musicals, where a film director discovered him. Over 40 international awards later, he has maintained his passion for live performances. «Cinema is a craft in which I am bound by the words of others. Music is my territory, where I open my soul to the public. We don't just perform a repertoire: we live this evening together with you, face to face.» The concert will be held in English without translation.
