Kvietah
indie rock • Prague A young singer-songwriter who blends elements of indie rock and pop in her music. She stands out for her openness and authenticity, as well as the strength of her musical expression about often sad realities. Her lyrics reflect societal pains as well as personal ones. She is not afraid of original yet down-to-earth metaphors that mirror her unique empathy. She can compellingly share her feelings while also capturing the essence of a situation sketched only through details. Musically, she skillfully alternates between distorted alternative rock guitars, catchy pop melodies, electronic beats, and pure balladic piano. Since 2024, Kvietah has been the holder of the Anděl Award in the Discovery of the Year category for her album Díky, Včely.
