NORTHERN HORIZON - KERES / ORGG / PURNAMA KERES formed in 2015 in South Tyrol (Italy) from the ashes of the band The Crying of Angels after the departure of Vendera Dantone and Lenny Verga. With a new name and two new members, the band immediately entered the studio, where the album "Heresy" was created — more modern, brutal, and sharper than their previous work. The album partially deviates from black metal roots and reflects the musical development and new influences of the band members. The current five-member lineup offers an exceptionally powerful live experience, likened to a crushing bulldozer full of blast beats, fast riffs, and a ritual atmosphere. The concert show is thematically inspired by ancient mythology and philosophy. The band is currently presenting the album "HOMO HOMINI LUPUS," which opens a new chapter for Keres. ORGG is an Italian black metal band focused on the dark historical concept of the "Great White War" — events of World War I on the Alpine front and in the Dolomites. Their music combines brutal speed, chilling atmosphere, and an epic war feeling, emphasizing aggressive riffs, blast beats, and monumental melodies. The band has released the albums The Great White War (2020) and Dimonios (2022) and has recently released a new album Indomita (2026), which they are set to showcase in their live performances. Their newer work pushes the sound into an even faster, harder, and darker realm, as evidenced by the new song "Lawinensturm," described as their most brutal track ever. ORGG is known for intense live performances that act as a war soundstorm — crushing, uncompromising, and hypnotic. PURNAMA – darkness, technique, and relentless energy! Purnama is one of the most prominent names in the Czech black/death metal scene. The band was formed in 2011 in the Liberec/Turnov region and has since established a strong presence both at home and abroad. Their debut album Lioness (2017) paved the way to larger stages, while the subsequent album Flame of Rebellion (2020), recorded at The Barn studio and mixed by Andy LaRoque (King Diamond) in Sweden under the MetalGate Records label, confirmed their ambitions and quality. Over more than a decade, they have played dozens of concerts across Europe, including performances in Belgium and Switzerland, and have appeared at festivals such as Gothoom Open Air, Czech Death Fest, Masters of Rock, Harnbarg Metalfest, Hellpdays, Fajtfest, and others. Live, they are known for an intense, technically precise show that combines dark atmosphere, strong lyrics, and uncompromising energy. They have shared the stage with names like Belphegor, Kampfar, and Diabolical, which only confirms their reputation in the extreme metal scene. Their work is often compared to BEHEMOTH — not as a copy, but as an indicator of the feeling their music leaves behind: monumental, dark, and a deeply emotional experience. A significant part of their activities also includes charitable projects, primarily the Metal for Hope initiative, aimed at supporting children with cancer. The band is currently working on a new album entirely in Czech.
