This album electrified the jazz world with the unique interaction between the musicians, the soaring melodies of the compositions, and its bold spirit of improvisation, capturing a rare moment in time where deep lyricism and unrestrained exploration helped shape the sound of a generation. For the first time in nearly two decades, the group is almost fully reunited to bring this music back to the stage, honoring its legacy while opening new pathways. None other than Greg Osby, Eddie Henderson, Robin Eubanks, and Heiri Känzig to provide a creative and intelligent tribute. These musicians have worked with great names such as Herbie Hancock, Elvin Jones, Carla Bley, Woody Shaw, or Oscar Peterson, and some have even played with Miles and Trane.
