They are an integral part of the Christian Christmas celebration and not only in Europe but worldwide – Christmas cribs. The crib collection of the Würth Collection dates back to the private collection of Edwin and Wilma Buchholz, acquired in 2002 and comprising around 700 exhibits from around the world. The exhibition at the Forum Würth Rorschach presents a selection of this extraordinary collection and shows the diversity of materials, techniques, and traditions through which the Christmas story is told around the globe. To kick off the crib exhibition, we take you on a journey through continents and cultures. In a short guided tour, you will discover selected exhibits and learn more about the craftsmanship and stories behind the cribs. Guided tours of the crib exhibition at 1:00 PM, 2:00 PM, and 4:00 PM (each lasting 30 minutes)
