KOVACS announces Germany tour 2027 Hamburg, 25.05.2026. With her distinctive voice and dark soul aesthetics, KOVACS has been captivating fans worldwide for years. In 2027, the Dutch artist returns to Germany with new music and a new live show for selected concerts. Tickets will initially be available exclusively from Wednesday, 27.05.2026, at 10 am via Eventim. SHARON KOVACS is one of Europe's most distinctive voices. With her dark, soul-infused voice, she captivates audiences worldwide with a timeless and unmistakable sound. Inspired by artists like Betty Davis, Etta James, Tina Turner, as well as Amy Winehouse, Shirley Bassey, and Portishead, she developed her own style early on, blending raw soul, cinematic melancholy, and dark elegance. Her international breakthrough came in 2014 with the EP "My Love," whose title track became a success across Europe and reached millions of streams. That same year, KOVACS played festivals like North Sea Jazz Festival and Lowlands and was awarded the NPO Radio 6 Soul & Jazz Award for Best Talent. Her debut album "Shades Of Black" reached number one on the Dutch album charts in 2015 and she subsequently performed on international stages such as Glastonbury Festival, Sziget Festival, and Rock Werchter. In 2018, her second album "Cheap Smell" was released, produced together with Liam Howe. In 2023, her album "Child Of Sin" was released via her own label Wolf Recordings; it became the highest new entry on the Dutch album charts and led to a sold-out worldwide tour. For the second half of 2026, KOVACS announces a new chapter: electronic music is now at the center of her sound for the first time. Inspired by the raw energy of Berlin industrial techno clubs, she combines her soulful voice with old-school electro and futuristic soundscapes reminiscent of 1970s electronic music. Influences from pioneers like Kraftwerk are clearly audible. The result is a sound that blends nostalgia, darkness, and modern electronic production.
