Description

Teachers were still a rarity around 1850 - due to societal norms, male prejudices, and legislation. The teaching celibacy, that is, the celibacy of "Miss Elise," is a prime example. Museum guide Barbara Fricker-Tuzlu, dressed in the strict black costume of the time, provides educational and exciting insights into the school life of that era. The costume tour lasts approximately 60 minutes. Tour fee 3 € (plus museum entrance). Since the number of participants is limited, registration is recommended.
