Free Tours at SWISSINT

Description

Who is SWISSINT?
Promoting peace in the international context is one of the three main missions of the Swiss Army. Around 300 Swiss men and women volunteer daily for foreign missions and contribute to peace in regions affected by conflicts and wars, where peaceful coexistence is impossible. The SWISSINT Competence Center, located at the Wil military base near Stans in Oberdorf, is responsible for implementing these missions. From there, it is ensured that peacekeepers are equipped with the right materials, prepared for their mission at the SWISSINT training center, deployed on the mission, supported during the mission, and finally brought back to Switzerland.

Cost
The tours and aperitif are free of charge.
The aperitif is offered by the municipality of Oberdorf.
