FIMMENE! sings in «Labouring Bodies»: Ten voices for women's rights encounter the art exhibition about working, machine-controlled female bodies. From our stage program «DON'T LET YOUR HEART SMASH ON THE ROAD», Georgian and Greek folk songs of migrant women are heard, from «DIE WEBERINNEN» work songs of striking female workers worldwide, from «AFLAME AND UNAFRAID» militant poetry by poets and activists. Thus, singing becomes an attitude, resistance, and solidarity.

General Information

The event "Körper im Klang | Stimmen im Widerstand" takes place at the Museum Tinguely in Basel. As part of the exhibition «Labouring Bodies», a diverse program with folk songs and militant poetry is presented, addressing the themes of women's rights and labor.
