Description

A tremendous coincidence causes three lonely people and the planets they live on to collide, involving geographers, kings, and drinkers. From this fateful entanglement, a ménage à trois emerges, shattering their seemingly secure life plans. They are Saint-Exupéry's 'great people' par excellence – lost in numbers, power, and vanity, while the essential remains invisible to their eyes. At Theater Basel and Schauspielhaus Zürich, two radically contrasting interpretations of 'The Little Prince' are premiered in a unique double premiere. A journey back to childhood – and a tragicomedy by Basel author Lucien Haug about being trapped in the seriousness of life.
