Description

The four musicians from Mannheim take their brightest colors in hand and paint the canvases of German jazz clubs with them. Sometimes gentle, sometimes brazen, they use subtle harmonic sequences and view them in a meditative way in all imaginable shades, only to splash the wall with a bucket of pink glitter paint in the next moment. Kitschig and bold, experimental and gentle, acoustic and electronic.
The four have already caused a stir at local clubs and jazz festivals. After their first EP Epic Wonderland, released in 2023, the musicians now present their debut vinyl Thorns, which will be released in October 2026 by the label chronica luma.

General Information

Kitsch&Gewitter is a jazz quartet from Mannheim that delights with a mix of acoustic and electronic sounds. After their first EP, they now present their debut album in a concert at the Kulturzentrum Tempel in Karlsruhe.
