Description

The four musicians from Mannheim take their brightest colors and paint the canvases of German jazz clubs with them. Sometimes gentle, sometimes brazen, they use subtle harmonic sequences and view them in a meditative way in all imaginable shades, only to splash pink glitter paint on the wall in the next moment. Kitsch and bold, experimental and gentle, acoustic and electronic. The four have already caused a stir in local clubs and jazz festivals. After releasing their first EP Epic Wonderland in 2023, the musicians now present their debut vinyl Thorns, which will be released in October 2026 by the label chronica luma.

General Information

Kitsch & Gewitter is a concert by the four musicians from Mannheim, who shape the canvases of German jazz clubs with their music. After their first EP, they now present their debut album at the Kulturzentrum Tempel in Karlsruhe.
