Description

For a quarter of a century, Kitchen has stood for instrumental, eruptive sound. The trio skillfully weaves alternative rock and post-rock with the club music of the turn of the millennium into a hypnotic sound tapestry. The latest production, Fake Nature, shows the band sometimes intimate and subtle, sometimes powerful and brachial. In the early years, Kitchen tinkered with their music in Basel; for nearly 20 years, the band has been based in Bern. In recent years, Kitchen has been working in the studio and rehearsal room in Münsingen on new material, some of which appeared on the current EP Fake Nature. Dominik Blumer: guitar, synthesizer
