With his new trio, he also regularly returns to Denmark, where his performances resonate strongly with the local music scene. Jiří Kotača is a recognized composer and trumpeter who has performed across Europe. In 2024, he received the Anděl music award for the album “Our Stories” by the group “Alf Carlsson/Jiří Kotača Quartet.” Jan Sedlák has traveled across Europe with his music from Malta to Finland. On stage, he has met masters such as Gilad Hekselman, Niclas Knudsen, Jonas Due, Teis Semey, Yogev Shetrit, and Eya Lovett. Sedlák lives in Denmark and in 2025 received the Jazz Musician of the Year award for Northern Jutland. Petr Nohavica, drummer and composer, was nominated for the Anděl music award in 2024. Nohavica regularly performs with the best musicians of the Czech scene but also tours in Europe and the United States.
