On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the large church bell of the Church of S. Martin in Lumbrein, a special tour on the topic of church bells and bell ringing will be conducted. The tour takes you to Surcasti to the Church of S. Luregn, to Vella to the Church of S. Vintschegn, and finally to the anniversary bell, the large church bell in the Church of S. Martin in Lumbrein. Church bells have been a defining sound of Val Lumnezia for centuries. Their chimes accompany people's daily lives, mark the time, call to worship, announce festivals, and remind of special events in church and village life.
