Kinder- und Jugendtheater Zug – Der Besuch der Alten Dame

Description

The Children's and Youth Theater Zug stages Dürrenmatt's compelling story of Claire Zachanassian, a wealthy woman returning to her impoverished hometown Güllen after fifty years. Her offer of wealth to the villagers in exchange for the murder of her former lover, Alfred Ill, transforms into a dramatic exploration of guilt, responsibility, and the corruptibility of morality. The production is directed by Rebekka Pichler and Stefan Koch, with costumes by Ariane Inglin and stage design by Philipp Kissling, featuring talented young actors from the theater.
