Vojtěch Špiller – trumpet, Jan Khýr – electric guitar, vocals, František Komárek – bass guitar, and Václav Khýr – drums, vocals The trumpet in the lineup is really amazing… Khyr Brothers is a brotherly blues jazz rock band from Opava, playing mainly original songs. However, their repertoire also includes musical adaptations of poetry by Oldřich Mikulášek, Petr Skarland, and Josef Kainar.
The band’s style is most similar to Robben Ford or the Prague-based ASPM. The characteristic sound is also enhanced by a great trumpet.
Finalist of the recently held Blues Aperitif 2026. Subscription cards are valid for this performance, with a limited number of remaining tickets available in advance at www.kcct.cz, at the City Museum (Klácelova 11), at the Cultural Center office (Nádražní 397), and 1 hour before the start at the box office.
