We will conclude 2026 at Kafara with our traditional Christmas party. This year's event will be a bit more festive than usual. We will celebrate, reflect, say goodbye, and welcome. We look forward to seeing you! Grumper Art-punk as sensory overload. Noise, dirt, and the aesthetics of old VHS tapes, Brno's Grumper explores the dark side of alternative rock. You might remember the members from previous projects sinks and Nichi Mlebom, and they were brought together by a love for strange sounds. Instead of a classic recording, Grumper debuted last year with a live performance recorded on four CCTV cameras, reflecting the raw energy of the trio. Call it glitch-rock. Chora Sfakion Nothing good ever came from Znojmo? Chora Sfakion is named after a town on the coast of Crete, mixing nervous post-punk with the laid-back atmosphere of Moravian Tuscany. They emerged from their garage rehearsal space after COVID and initially wrote songs named after dishes - hence they described their style as gastropunk. They made a splash in Radio Wave's Starter, and their debut album Féerie was released in 2025 on Indies Scope. It features dreamy vocals from the prominent singer Míša, shoegaze distortion, and mantric bass lines. Amygdala Aid The Brno trio Amygdala Aid (formerly Amygdala) fuses math rock with other genres of alternative rock. Fast, energetic drums, intricate bass, and melodic guitar riffs in open tuning. They have played all the Brno clubs from Kafara to Melodka and have also performed in Bratislava. They have two tracks on streaming services, but expect big things from them. The event is part of the Vinyla Music Awards project. The Vinyla Music Awards project is held with financial support from the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the South Moravian Region, the statutory city of Brno, the State Fund for Culture of the Czech Republic, and the capital city of Prague.
