Premiere: JUST MOMENTS IN OUR LIVES THAT CRY FOR ATTENTION “We live as we dream – alone.” Yet, in our everyday existence, we are bound by various commitments, duties, and transactions. Can we do without each other when the essence of trade is supply on one side and demand on the other? Courier and Customer. Running and Waiting. Who is who? Who plays their role and how? Who owns the boundaries of the outside and the inside? One is constantly in motion, the other does not leave the territory's boundaries. One is rushing somewhere, the other is waiting. Do they ever meet? A stage attempt to explore moments of closeness, random encounters, and what we can actually want from others. Our life is one big transaction – but what do we actually give and why do we offer it? And why do we take something? What happens when we stop for a moment? Is it really true that when we stop, we cease to exist? Is it possible to change another person through one brief encounter? Let alone change ourselves? The performance opens themes of dependence/independence of a person on the system, mutual dependence of one on another, the myth of individual self-sufficiency, and the conflicts we carry within ourselves. How thin is the line between professionalism and human contact?
