They played, convinced, and outperformed strong competition: year after year, young musicians from our region return with outstanding successes from the Jugend musiziert competition. With extraordinary talent, great discipline, and impressive artistic maturity, they achieve top positions at the state level – a success that not only reflects their skills but also their passion for music. We are all the more pleased to give these young talents the stage they deserve and to present their musical work to a broad audience. The concert program promises an equally diverse and high-caliber journey through different eras, styles, and ensembles. From sensitive solo performances to captivating duos and versatile chamber music ensembles, a sound panorama unfolds that impressively showcases the versatility and expressive power of the young virtuosos. For most of the participants, this concert is also an important milestone: it serves as a dress rehearsal for the federal competition in May 2027 in Bonn. At the Franziskaner Concert Hall, they have the opportunity to present part of their program once again under professional conditions, gain valuable stage experience, and prepare for the upcoming final competition step.
